Blood Alcohol Content (Continued)

The following chart shows the approximate Blood Alcohol Percentage In One Hour given the number of drinks and weight of person.

This is only a guide and NOT sufficiently accurate to be considered legal evidence. The figures you calculate are averages. Individuals may vary somewhat in their personal alcohol tolerance. Food in the stomach affects the rate of absorption. Medications, health, and psychological condition are also influential factors. In any case, if you've been drinking at all, be careful!

Once you've had a drink, the one thing that will remove the alcohol from your system is time. Eating food will slow the absorption of alcohol into your system, but it won't reduces the alcohol concentration in your body. Remember, wait at least one hour for every drink you've had before driving a vehicle.
