Refund Policy

Last updated: November 11, 2025

We want you to feel confident about your purchase. This policy explains when refunds are available and how to request one.

30-Day Money-Back Window

You may request a full refund within 30 days of purchase as long as you have not completed the course (pass or fail) and none of the non-refundable items below apply.

When Refunds Are Not Available

  • Course completed or certificate issued: Once you finish the course, pass or fail, or once a certificate is generated or submitted (including e-file where applicable), refunds are not available.
  • Excessive failed attempts: If you fail a required section or exam the maximum number of times allowed by state rules (e.g., three times), we cannot issue a refund.
  • Personal validation / affidavit failures: If you fail to provide correct answers for personal validation questions or affidavit requirements, refunds are not available (per state policy).
  • Inactive accounts: If the course is not successfully completed within 120 days of purchase, the registration is cancelled automatically and is not eligible for a refund.

Fees That Are Not Refundable

  • Third-party or fulfilled services: e-file fees, mailing/shipping, downloadable delivery, and driving record fees (if purchased) are non-refundable once fulfilled or submitted.
  • Processing charges: Payment processor fees may be non-refundable once the transaction is settled.

How to Request a Refund

  1. Go to our Contact page and include your full name, email, order ID (if available), and the reason for your request.
  2. Requests must be made by the account holder (or the cardholder) within 30 days of purchase.

Refund Method & Timing

  • Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method.
  • Most refunds appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer.

State-Specific Notes

  • Texas: Courts and state rules prohibit refunds after completion or after an e-filed certificate has been submitted.
  • Florida (BDI) & New Mexico: Similar restrictions apply once completion/certificate steps are finalized.
